It's Time to Ensure a Strong Foundation
PACFA is proud to announce the second year of our New Staff Training Academies.
In 2024, two Academies will be held. The first will be held on Tuesday, April 2nd in Washington, PA, and the second on Tuesday, April 23rd in Eastern PA. Specific locations to be announced soon.
These all-day sessions are designed for PACFA staff with less than five years’ experience. A team of experienced community foundation leaders will volunteer their time to lead interactive learning sessions on national community foundation trends, working with boards and volunteers, donor development and stewardship, finance and investments, grantmaking and community impact, and communications and marketing.
Instructors include Sam Bressi of the Lancaster County Community Foundation, Molly Kunkle of the Centre Foundation, and Mike Batchelor of PACFA. Collectively, they have over 50 years of experience to share with individuals joining this field.
Please mark your calendars now and share with interested team members. We’ll be providing a great overview of our field while also creating long-term peer groups that will benefit attendees throughout their careers. For 2023, New Staff Training Academies are being offered as a member benefit and will be available at no additional charge.
